Radio
I have a Wednesday 2.30pm slot on Track Radio with Sonja McLaughlan to talk all things sports tech. It is Britain’s only sports and music station.

What a treat to be on The Infinite Monkey Cage, recorded at the Royal Institution in London. Listen here.

I appeared on this BBC Radio 4 show on the history for running by poet and runner Helen Mort. Helen interviewed me as we ran around Endcliffe parkrun in Sheffield. You can listen to the whole programme here (I appear at around 29 mins 30 secs).

Undoubtedly a career highlight. Jim al-Khalili is a wonderful interviewer and presenter: listen here.
Documentary: Champions v Legends
A look at how sports tech has changed in winter sports seeing if today’s athletes can compete with athletes of yesteryear using their old equipment. It was fun to do but very cold!

Documentary: The Equalizer
No, not the film with Denzel Washington but a look at how sports tech has changed in summer sports. The highlight was filming with a very young sprinter Andre de Grasse in replica Jesse Owens shoes. One of the best things I’ve done in my career.

Online: The Royal Institution
Back when the London 2012 Olympics was still being built, I had an EPSRC senior media fellowship that allowed me to make some videos with some professional film makers. A lot of the filming locations were around Sheffield – see if you recognise any of them!
